Guillermo “Memo” Diaz
Coach
Guillermo “Memo” Diaz is a Borderland-raised soccer player whose path took him from Gadsden High School to the professional level. A former Gatorade New Mexico Boys Soccer Player of the Year, he played collegiately at Yavapai and UNLV before continuing his career with Laredo Heat, El Paso Locomotive FC, and Oakland Roots SC. Known as a reliable two-way defender, he developed a reputation for work rate, consistency, and contributing on both sides of the ball. As a coach, Memo uses that experience to help young players sharpen their skills, compete with purpose, and build strong habits on and off the field.
